Hardest life moment: Bruce’s brother was killed in a house fire when he was 28 and his daughter was born three weeks later. The baby’s mum didn’t cope and we adopted the baby at 14 months. That’s our gorgeous Jacqui.
Family closeness got us all through the grief somehow and we all supported each other and still do. Bruce and I have always been close to both families which is a real blessing.
And out of the darkest times comes great love – our Jacqui has given us much joy, including 3 lovely grandchildren.
