Destination Happiness Founder
‘Diverse’ is an understatement when it comes to describing Angie Hilton’s career as an entertainer, the list of her accomplishments is endless.
From her humble beginnings as playing the role of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz as a junior thespian, she has progressed through her career as a singer in the Hey Hey it’s Saturday Band, sang at NRL and AFL Grand Finals, backed up Ricky Martin and Ronan Keating, struts her stuff as Kylie Minogue in the Australian Kylie Show, presented on travel shows Coxy’s Big Break and What’s Up Downunder and that’s just to name a few. Vocal coach, song writer, voice overs, jingles, there’s no end to this girl’s talents.
But the real story of Angie’s role at Destination Happiness, is that she has developed the overall concept of the show after experiencing and overcoming anxiety and depression in her 20’s. A time that lead her to study every wellness, self-help, medical, psychological, spiritual technique available to her at the time.
Having learnt through various means to successfully manage and overcome her anxiety, Angie has made it her mission to get people talking openly about the subject and find the avenue that suits them to take positive steps in their lives.
There’s no doubt that Angie is a true professional in her role as presenter, but the honesty, authenticity and true feeling in her message is what brings the magic to the program and conveys the true essence of Destination Happiness.
